Devoted earth keeper, Chef and curator of Sippin’ Live, and the Property Manager for Breadnut Valley Estate. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Sherece moved to the breadbasket parish, St. Elizabeth, as a toddler, where she spent most of her life. Over the years, she has travelled and honed her craft, but now she has returned to her home parish, where she has opened Sippin’ Live Garden - Earth to Table.
After successfully completing high school, she ventured to Kingston, where she pursued her Bachelor of Science in General Management at the University of the West Indies Mona. During this time, she sold pastries and finger food in order to earn extra income, as well as nourish her love for cooking. She graduated in 2010, but continued her side hustle while working in the corporate world. Sherece has worked in the Airline Industry, Accounting and even explored the Television Industry before she decided that it was necessary for her to pursue her true passion.
Sherece officially left the corporate world in 2012. She began her career as a Chef by doing pop-up events and dinners in Kingston, under the name Sippin’ Live. Starting this career proved to be the right decision and she has had various experiences in pursuit of her passion. She has trained in Advance Cake Decorating at The Wilton School. She has studied Gourmet Raw Food at the Living Cuisine Academy in South Florida, and studied alongside Dr. Aris Latham who awarded her certification in Sunfired Cuisine. She lived in East Africa for four months as a guest Chef, and opened the first fully Vegan Restaurant in Tanzania. She was the Personal Chef for Reggae Artist, Chronixx, on his Chronology Album Tour in North America. She has collaborated on several pop-up events and wellness retreats in Chicago and Oakland, California.
Despite her many travels to hone her craft, she never parts from Jamaica for too long. Sherece has a deep interest in lifelong learning, application of self-healing, and natural health and wellness. She studied Permaculture Design and Organic Farming at the Source Farm Eco - Village in St. Thomas. She recently completed Reiki level one training and has the title Shoden Practitioner. Waiting to be released is her line of kitchenware with Enbois Originals. Sherece has started a food and medicine garden, where she explores techniques in natural farming with the intention of transforming the garden into a training space. Most recently, she has created a permanent home for Sippin’ Live, dubbed Sippin’ Live Garden - Earth to Table, in her home parish of St. Elizabeth.
